Liora's POV
"I have something important to talk to you about" That got my attention alright. I immediately turned to her, my eyes searching hers as I wondered what it was that she needed to talk about.
“So,” she began casually, stretching out her legs, “what are you doing this weekend?”
“Catching up on work,” I answered immediately like it was already programmed in my head.
She groaned dramatically. “Of course you are. You, spreadsheets, documents, endless calls. Don’t you ever get bored of being so responsible?” She said with a little eye roll. She sure loves to tease me.
“I’m not responsible. I’m just…” I trailed off, searching for the right word. “…busy.” It was true. I had finally decided to step up and I needed to finish what I started.
“Well,” she said, undeterred
