To say everyone was shocked was an understatement. The people on the room were left speechless at Liora's declaration. The silence that followed was deafening. The enforcers exchanged wary glances, their shoulders tense. This was a trap that Liora had laid for Selene and she had foolishly fallen into it.
Selene’s eyes blazed with anger, her wolf trying to surge to the surface, but panic overshadowed her fury. She has been pushed to the wall by Liora and was trapped, she knew it. “You little—” She strained against her cuffs, voice breaking. “Delete it! I’ll kill you if you don’t!”
