  Liora’s POV   I’d been wiping furiously at his soaked shirt, muttering apologies under my breath, when I finally realized why it felt so wrong. He wasn’t moving. Rowan just stood there, broad chest rising and falling beneath my clumsy hands, his gaze locked on me. It wasn’t casual, wasn’t polite, it was dark, unyielding, consuming in a way that made my heartbeat stumble. My fingers stilled slowly. What was I doing? Why I suddenly pause?
