After the kiss with Lauren, I felt sick to my stomach. I wanted to throw up, but I didn't because I didn't want her to feel like there was something off about me, so I kept up the appearance, waiting for the right moment to strike.
"I have some important things to take care of, can we continue this another time?" I asked, hoping that she would allow me to leave without putting up a fight. When she pulled away from me, she furrowed her brows, as if trying to figure out what was going on with me.
"I was thinking that we could have dinner together. How about you take me someplace else so that we can have some alone time? A nice restaurant sounds good right?" I opened my mouth to reply but closed it when I recalled what Dr. Harris had said the first time I lost consciousness.
