Naia decided to come with me to the pack house, and I was a nervous wreck because I wasn't sure how the pack members were going to react to having a human there.
But I could tell that Naia was harmless, and she was going to be their Luna, so they better damn well treat her with respect, or they would be punished. I looked over at her as she stared out the window. She didn't say much after I told her who I was, but I was happy that she was coming with me.
It took a while for us to get to the pack and when we did, I could immediately feel the shift in the air. They knew that a human was here and they had their guard up. I didn't blame them because humans could be so unpredictable, and they didn't know that I had a mate.
