"She doesn't want to see you," Callan said after he returned. I was expecting this but it still felt like a punch to the gut after hearing that. I understand that she didn't know that something was happening to me, but the least she could do was talk to me so that I could explain.
"Am I supposed to just walk away without a fight? I can't do that. She's my mate and she's pregnant with my pup." I growled, feeling frustrated.
