Michael POV:
The nerve of mother inviting James to eat with us. She knows who he is to Rati and knows how I feel about it. I know he saved Gar’s life and I am so grateful for him doing so. But that does not mean I have to let him know that. Honesty, I do not know how I would have run this pack without Gar. Yeah, Rati is taking her role as Luna seriously and she is doing a great job at it. But she is not a Luna in every sense of the word. We have not been intimating at all, so I haven’t marked her. Eos is pissed off. I have not mated and marked her yet. He does not understand that I want her to want to do it, not because it can possibly save James’s life. Once James and Gar left, I sat down and took a deep breath.
