Moving in with Zara was more fun than I originally thought, she managed to get my mind off Mason and soon I wasn't thinking all that much about him.
She was very optimistic about me getting into NYU and her optimism was quickly rubbing off on me.
I'd not heard anything back from the admission office but I was positive that I would hear a response soon enough.
I stopped calling home because I knew how hard it was for them. I felt very bad for my mother, after my father's death she hadn't known any kind touch but Sirius' and I had managed to mess that up.
I hoped one day though Mason would get over whatever he was feeling right now for me so that Sirius could feel okay about getting back with my mother.
I even hoped he found another mate…. Scratch that…. Honestly I didn't.
