I hurriedly stood up once I heard my alarm clock go off. I had been lying awake for a few hours since I couldn't sleep. I put on some running clothes and then started making my way downstairs. The house was still deadly silent, which was a big surprise to me, but I didn't pay any heed to it. I had my hand on the doorknob when my Dads voice echoed through the house and I turned around and saw him standing above the staircase. “Where do you think you're going?” He asked and I could see the anger in his eyes. I unconsciously swallowed and that was when I realized something... Never have I ever been afraid of my Dad... Until now.
