After spending some time in the cool, inviting water, I finally emerged from the lake, droplets cascading down my skin as I made my way back to where my belongings were spread out on a soft, sandy towel. I settled onto the towel's comforting embrace and reached for my water bottle, taking a refreshing gulp that seemed to invigorate my senses. As I glanced around, the scene before me was a mix of laughter and chatter, but I quickly noticed how many of the girls maintained a noticeable distance from me, while a group of guys openly stared, their gazes filled with curiosity. "Don’t worry about them. Especially Olivia and Emma. They’re just jealous that you’re friends with their boyfriends," a voice chimed in.
