After a week, Dr. Stevens gave me a call.
“Hey, Mia. I got the lab results for your blood exam.”
“Really? Great!”
“Can you come tomorrow?”
“Ok. Can I come in the afternoon just after my work?”
“Oh, my office closes at four in the afternoon.”
“Oh, can I go on Saturday when I don’t have work?”
“Sure! But if you choose to come tomorrow I have a better option where we can talk.”
“Hey, that’s more fun I guess.”
“So do I see you tomorrow?”
“Okay but where?”
“I will call again tomorrow.”
“Whatever you say, Doc.”
“Call me Jake.”
“Oh...okay Jake it is. See you, Jake.”
And we both hang up our phones. When I came home, I went to my closet to choose an outfit that was right for the meeting, I can’t call it a date. While I was browsing my closet, Brad came.
“Hi, honey! Where are you?”
