I walked out of the washroom along with Leo who had come in after me. I was walking towards the table facing him while we were talking about random things. I heard my son screaming the name of the woman who has been on my mind more than anything which stopped me in my tracks. ‘I dare not turn round, What if it’s not her? What if my son is mistaken? What if, it is her and will go away after seeing me? What if she will hate me more after seeing me?’ there were so many ‘what if’s’ that were doing a marathon in my head when I heard her voice, her voice that I missed so much in these past months.
