** JOHN’S POV **
Eva was walking back into the kitchen after meeting a customer who asked to meet the chef. I walked up to her in my slightly tipsy state “Eva” I called out to her. Hearing me call out to her she stooped in her tracks and turned to look at me and when she did her smile turned upside down into a frown. She folded her hands over her chest “You look too damn cute for your own good when you are angry chipmunk” I had a sudden urge to kiss her cute face so I planted one on her cheek.
I had to sober up as more guests started to come in. Having Eva with me made me relax ‘Man! What a dumb s**t I was to have let her go’.
