"Mom, is everything ready?"
"Everything's ready. The only thing that is not ready is you!"
"Okay. I got it. Sorry about that."
She's getting mad.
"Where are you?!"
"We're in the restaurant. Tina has gone to the washroom."
"Okay. Don't make me wait for too long, Axel. I'm dying of excitement here."
I chuckled. "Got it, Mom. Bye."

I put my phone back to my pocket just as Tina approached me.
"Let's go."
She smiled and hooked her arm with mine. "Where are we going now?"
"That milady is a surprise."
She groaned. "Fine. But, aren't you going back to work?"
"I've cancelled all my appointments for today, so, no."
