Chapter Sixty Three – No Pain Without Gain
Eva lay hooded up to a monitor as once more the pain gripped her stomach, Tereasa stood beside her, as her allotted birthing partner, giving her the gas and air.
Eva breathed heavily until the pain subsided once more.
“They are getting stronger” she whispered out
“I know, your midwife said she will come in a check you in half an hour” Tereasa smiled.
“Damn I have a new appreciation of patients in labour now” Eva blew out a breath then scrunched up her face.
“f**k” she cursed as another contraction began.
She then felt a pop as water gushed out of her,
“I need the midwife now, my waters have gone, and I need to push” Eva cried out, a little shocked at the speed things were moving.
“Okay, I will get her and let her know” Tereasa smile
