I was in my room when I heard the creaking sound of the door, at first I thought I was hearing things but then the noise got louder, I can hear the twisting of the door like someone is trying to open the door downstairs, I slowly held onto my tummy that was wrapped in a bandage, and got down from the bed, I took my phone and texted my father before I made my way downstairs, I hid by a corner as I finally heard the door opening but immediately I heard the police siren from afar and the next thing I saw was the shadow of a woman tuning out immediately, she made it to the gate and disappeared but something in my gut told me that the shadow is Shitali, even if I’m sleeping I can recognize Shitali anywhere I see her,
