When Damien, Heather and Lilly went home, Blake and his prisoners following closely behind, the young Luna found Jasmine awake, although feeling a bit groggy.
“It worked,” the witch said rather weakly, happiness coating her words.
“Yes, it did. I can’t thank you enough,” Heather kissed her on both cheeks, making Jasmine blush slightly while muttering a small, “Nonsense. We’re family.”
Damien just smiled at his cousin in silent gratitude, and Jonathan nodded curtly his way.
“Jasmine,” Blake called out after a small moment of silence. Before she spoke up, he carried on, “how do you feel about seeing Karl?”
“That’d be great,” she responded immediately.
“Good,” Blake commented absentmindedly, “because he’ll have to come since there’s a witch involved.”
