I tried to praise king Augustus a little so that he can think of himself as a great king and have mercy on us poor. And as I thought, my buttering worked and an evil smile came to his lips. He is a power hungry king who likes to hear only great things about himself, as I had thought. With that smirk like smile plastered on his face, he announced his next order.
“Fine. If you put it this way, then I will spare your family. But in return, you have to get a much harsh punishment. Do you think you can do it for you family?” There is no secound thoughts for me when it comes to my family. I can do everything for it.
“Yes. I will accept everything for my family.” Hearing my reply, his smile became larger.
