Alora slowly opened her eyes. What had happened? She was in the villa a week ago where the hell was She? Where were Antonio and Marco? Panic and anxiety set in all at once, what if Luca had found them and took Antonio away, what if Raven had found her and had got Marco. f**k she panicked, f**k her breaths short and husky. ‘Breathe.’ A deep husky voice told her.
Her hear racing. ‘Breathe Alora you’re safe.’
She looked up and he smiled his dark deceptive eyes reflected in hers. ‘Gianni.’
‘Baby.’
She quickly backed away her heart crashing through her rib cage. ‘Antonio, Marco.’ Is all she could produce through her short breaths.
‘They’re fine baby Raven is with them.’
She looked nervously at him. ‘You’re lucky it was me not Luca he was ready to kill you. He wants full custody after the stunt you pulled.’
She just stared at him.
‘Why did you leave the baby?’
‘I’m not your baby and you knew damn well why and I told you I’d be back once they were born.’
He tutted. ‘You seriously think I would believe that?’
‘It’s the truth.’
‘So did you really put a g*n to Gabriel’s head.’
‘Yes I did.’
‘Wow you impress me baby.’
‘I’m not your baby.’
‘Yes you are you always will be.’
‘Can I see them?’
‘Yes you can.’
She pulled herself up and he took her arm to help her off the bed. ‘We really have to sort this mess out with Luca if you don’t want to lose Antonio to him.’
‘I will owe.’
‘What’s wrong?’
‘I owe.’
‘Alora.’
‘I think I owe. I’m about to give birth.’
Alora’s eyes flickered opening she’d been in labour for twelve hours and she was well and truly f****d. She gave birth to a girl and boy naming them Valentina and Matteo. They were sleeping; she wasn’t sure where Gianni was, maybe he’d gone to get an ice pack for his crushed hand. Served him f*****g right for getting her into the situation in the first place she had yet to see Raven. He’d driven them here but she hadn’t seen him. So who was in the room with her. His dark eyes met with hers. She was in s**t now and there was nowhere to run hooked up to this f*****g contraption. ‘Why did you leave Alora? You knew I was coming to see Antonio and you just disappeared.’
‘I know I’m sorry. I just needed to get away.’
‘You could’ve come to me.’ He said calmly.
‘No I couldn’t.’
‘Why? There’s all shades of weird s**t going on there you’d be safer with me.’
‘I wish that were true.’
‘It is Alora, the sooner you start believing it the better. I have no idea what they are getting you to do in that house with them and I don’t want to really know, but I know one thing it’s not healthy.’
He was right and she didn’t want to admit it.
‘Let me take you away from it all. We’ll bring the kids up together as our own we’ll change the birth certificates.’
‘That’s impossible and you know it.’
‘I want my name on Antonio’s birth certificate. I want him to have my last name.’
‘Fine.’
‘Your not arguing?’ He asked, surprised.
‘I’m too tired to argue Luca, he’s still your flesh and blood. Even if I said no you’d still see a way around it.’
‘Yes I would.’ He admitted. ‘My offer still stands. I want you with Alora away from them a clean break. I can make sure they never find you or the kids.’
‘They’ll find a way Luca.’
‘I miss you Alora and it’s obvious neither of them are making you happy. They even faked Gianni’s death. Did they think I’d never find out?’
‘I don’t know Luca I honestly don’t.’
‘I’m sorry for how I acted with you in the past. I was angry that you never gave me a chance to even get to know my son now I am and I have you to thank for that.’
‘Thank Raven you did a deal with him.’
‘You still agreed.’
‘Like I had a choice. Like I don’t have a choice in this either.’
‘What have they got on you Alora?’
‘Everything.’
‘Define everything Alora.’
‘If I leave them I lose everything. I lose my children I can’t let that happen.’
‘Did you sign anything?’
‘A prenup or something like that. It states if I chose to leave I lose everything. Everything was in bold writing I enhanced, may I add.’
‘Where is it?’
‘With the Lawyer.’
‘Do you have a copy?’
‘No.’
‘Do they?’
‘Yes.’
‘I’ll sort this Alora there has to to be some floor in it something we can work with against them.’
‘Don’t look so optimistic Luca.’
‘We need to know if we can dismiss this rediculus prenup so you can be rid of them both.’
‘Why are you doing this?!’
‘To help you and my son. I want to see you are happy cause you’re clearly not right now.’
‘I’ve been in labour for twelve hours Luca how the hell am I supposed to look happy?’
‘You haven’t looked happy for the last two years Alora. I’m offering you a way out.’
‘How’s being with you a way out?’
‘It’s better than what you have now. Think about it.’ He leaned forward kissing her brow. ‘I’ll call you and I’ll come and visit Antonio next weekend you’ll hopefully be back home by then.’
She smiled.

‘You’re finally awake.’ Gianni shouted, smiling and pressing his lips on hers kissing her. ‘How have they been?’
‘Quiet. Where have you been?’
‘Getting the nursery ready with Raven.’
‘Is he here?’
‘I am.’ He said entering the room.’ He leaned over and kissed her. ‘Congrats babe.’
She smiled. He looked into the cots and smiled. ‘They’re beautiful Alora just like you.’
She blushed
‘You’re embracing her again.’
‘Only stating the truth.’
‘Liana is coming tomorrow. The midwife said you’ll be free to come home in the next few days once the doc gives you the all clear.’
She smiled.
