Kingdom pulled her onto his lap and pressed her cheek against his chest. Her body instantly relaxed.
“We’ve got to clear up everything between us once and for all,” Kingdom murmured against her temple.
Sage pushed up from his chest and held his soft gaze. She fell into his serious hazel eyes. Her gaze dipped to his supple lips and loose jaw. His mouth was usually bracketed in a frown, and his jaw clenched.
