I slammed my door shut, leaning against it for a moment as I exhaled a frustrated sigh. Not human? Power awakening? They’ve lost their damn minds. Shaking my head, I pushed off the door and tossed my jacket onto the bed. This was ridiculous. Whatever Vonnie and Carol thought they were sensing, it wasn’t me. I barely had time to kick off my boots before there was a knock at the door.
