Theo didn't even bother to ask who I am and, strangely, it doesn't even bother me one bit, not when Carley is giving him the stink eye and a hard time and definitely not when it is clear that the only person he is interested in is Maria. Carley told me about the bartender and I was curious about him, but I honestly didn't expect him to be the owner. The thought of that puts me slightly on edge, because that means he was keeping an eye on the cameras when we walked in and who knows who was watching and recording the cameras when we were busy just a few minutes ago. I try to look for any cameras up here without trying to be too obvious, but Theo is more observant than I give him credit for.
