Carley "Hi mom." I stare down at my parents grave, not sure what to say now that I am here. I just know that I needed to be here, tell her that I know about everything, but now I just feel silly. Tristan stands by the car a few feet away, giving me an encouraging smile when I look at him and I let out a breath, close my eyes for a second, imagining her smiling face, her kind green eyes. My mother was always so strong and happy. At least until the cancer took over, slowly killing her strength, but her smile was there until the very end. "Mom, I am going to be very honest with you, it hasn't been very easy without you here. I am sure I messed up a lot and I forgot to smile a lot like you would have wished, and for five years, I completely forgot you and everything else, but I made it mom.
