The past two weeks have been pure bliss. I have found peace in a way that I never thought possible. I might have grown up right next to the ocean, might have thought I knew what it would be like to live the island life, but being here on this small island where I can literally hike around the entire island within two to three days, is something completely different. I didn’t truly understand why Carly would prefer it here where there is so little, when she could’ve had anything, man made in Miami, but now that I am here, not stressed about testing out equipment to trying to find a body in the ocean, I can finally understand.
The breath of fresh air, not tainted by any factories, businesses that take over nature or cars driving around, polluting the air. I was welcome
