Trina was restless. Pacing in my head, I could sense how wired she was. She asked me to shift, to let her run in the woods and hunt. But I wasn't ready for that yet. And I am not sure if I ever will be. I am coming to terms with being a werewolf, but it is still an adjustment.
When I told her no, she only whimpered in response, and she has been like this ever since. The sarcastic and witty crazy person inside my head has been replaced by a sulking wolf. Yet one more thing I have to learn to deal with.
