BREELYNN’S POV
I feel like I am in an old western movie, with a high noon showdown between Aldric and Galina. Neither of them flinching but silently daring the other to make a move. Part of me wants to tell Aldric to let me go, but I know it won’t change his mind, and I am done asking for my freedom.
It’s bad enough that I feel like I am hiding behind Galina right now since I am not a person who allows someone else to fight my battles for me. However, Galina was the one to challenge him, and if we are being honest, at least she looked like she knew what she was doing.
