MARCO’S POV She sat at the tree and cried herself to sleep. Well, crying is an understatement; I don’t know what that actually was, but it seemed to engulf her entire being, and she couldn’t stop. Once confident she was in a deep sleep, I picked her up and carried her to my cabin. The Omegas saw her wrapped up in my arms and were about to rush up to me, making sure she was okay, but I shot them a look that stopped them in their tracks. I took her to my room and laid her on the bed with me. Her tiny, exhausted body curled up into mine, fitting perfectly. ‘At some point, you’re going to have to talk to Shiho and tell her what you said in case Breelynn decides to question her. Although Shiho is excellent at improv, what she did Saturday night when she ran into Bree is a perfect example.’
