The plan seems too simple to me. Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t expecting some insanely elaborate scheme that I would see in a Hollywood movie, but inviting a bunch of Alphas over to witness the Elders’ manipulating the mate bond doesn’t seem like a strong strategy.
From what I understand, the difficult part is getting the Alphas here. Apparently, all wolves, except Rogues, hate crossing into another pack’s territory. Alphas are the worst. It’s ingrained in them to dominate, and to do so in another territory is seen as an act of war.
Therefore, when Aldric invites the Alphas, he needs to accept a certain level of dominance from his guests, and they, in turn, will have to relinquish some of their control. It’s a tough balancing act; the more Alphas involved, the more volatil
