By the time I entered Aldric's office, all I wanted to do was take Aimee upstairs, hold her in my arms, and just get lost in her. But when I saw Aldric and Colton slumped back in their respective chairs like a pair of whipped dogs, I knew that it would be a while before I had any alone time with Aimee.
Aimee, Aaron, and Allen followed me into the office, and witnessing this scene was not instilling any confidence in them. "What did I miss? You two look like shit."
