The office still smells like death even though Marco had his men remove the dead bodies. Even though Owen and Fenriz were removed, the blood stains are still on the floor as a reminder that those two bastards didn't win and didn't break me, not that I had any doubts.
I spent ten years in the f*****g cell doing their bidding, just biding my time until I could get free. And then the idiots put Galina in the cell right next to me. I didn't expect her to hate me as much as she does; that is a minor inconvenience that I will have to fix.
Marco is an interesting development. His eagerness to mate with the female alpha will be useful. Unlike his ungrateful brother, who had no clue of the gift I had provided for him, but the ingrate is dead now, so it doesn't matter anymore.
