I ran back to the house frantically. I knew that when Landon said two days, he would probably change his mind and come tomorrow. I can't let him win. I have to leave town and never look back. I went in the house and saw my parents sitting down on the couch. It hurt my heart to think I might never see them again, but I had no choice.
