36. Possibilities “Mirage” he calls to me and I know I have to answer. Every fiber of my being requests it. Demands it. But I feel the exhaustion in my body. There is a heavy weight on my whole body without anything being on me. My exhausted body lulled me back to the unconsciousness of my body even if he calls me again. I couldn’t open my eyes even if I wanted to. It is too exhausting to do so. I feel someone touch my hand and the sparks can only mean one thing. It’s my mate that’s holding me so tenderly. “Please wake up. I need you to” he begs. I hear the desperation in his voice, and it pulls at my heartstrings and crushes my chest. “Open your eyes for me, my mate” The pain in his voice coaxed me out of my unconsciousness.
