My wife was wild last night. If it weren’t for my early meeting today, I wouldn’t leave her side. When I left her earlier, she was still sound asleep. She closed her shop today because I told her to rest.
I’m only working until noon today anyway. I plan to take her to Palawan for a few days so she can relax. Manila is no good for her. She needs the water to calm her nerves, and the further she is from her parents, the better.
I heard a knock on my door, and my secretary poked her head in. “Sir, someone would like to see you. She doesn’t have an appointment, but she’s insistent.”
