JUSTIN I just picked up my wife from her shop, and I noticed her downcast demeanor. I was half an hour late, but I did tell her earlier that I was going to try and cut my meeting short, which I did. We just got stuck in traffic because of construction, and also, rush hour had started. I held her hand and caressed her palm. “What’s wrong?” She just shook her head and leaned against my chest. We were on our way to a Greek restaurant. When we eat at home, she feels compelled to move around. Her tummy is getting bigger. If I could, I would let her stay at home and bring her food in bed. I’d rather have her on bed rest to ensure that nothing happens to her or the baby. I know I’m being over the top, but maybe this is how it feels to be a first-time dad.
