We pulled up in front of the Alpha residence and I sat in the car with Ava for a moment.
“What do you think he wants to talk to you about?” she asked.
“I am not sure,” I replied honestly.
“Do you think my brother knows what this is about?” she asked.
“I’m not sure about that either,” I replied.
“Well, if you need me, call me,” she said, giving me a smile.
“Careful, I might just take you up on that,” I told her making her laugh.
I opened the door to get out of the car and Asher’s truck pulled up beside us.
“Oh, what s**t timing that was,” I said, making Ava laugh again.
Asher got out of his truck closing the door. He stood beside the truck and it was obvious he was waiting for me. Looking over to Ava I rolled my eyes and said, “Well, this is going to be fun… not.”
