The party was in full swing. I had been watching Ava and Eric dancing together. They were so cute together. As I watched them dancing together, I felt a presence beside me.
“So… my sister has found her mate,” Asher said, as he watched the two of them dancing and laughing.
“She sure has,” I replied.
“Well… I guess she looks… happy,” he said quietly.
“She does, doesn’t she?” I replied.
“Well, as happy as she looks, just know that you will never have that. There is no one on this planet who will want you or love you the way Eric wants and loves my sister,” Asher stated as he turned and looked at me.
