Temporarily blinded by the light, I closed my eyes again and extended my arms to reach out to her as my chest heaved from the fear and adrenaline of hearing Sean's voice again and having a close encounter with Andrus.
"It's me. It's me. I'm okay. I didn't get controlled,"I replied but she didn't respond immediately. I knew she was just making sure I wasn't controlled by Andrus. "I can't see. The lights are blinding me."
