“Are you going to be at home for Christmas?” Daniel said as I held his hand as we crossed the room.

The restaurant was closed for cleaning today. It will open in the evening, so I have got the day off today. I will only have to work at the bar tonight. It had been a very long time since Daniel and I spent some time together, so I decided to take him out for some hot chocolate. It was a cold afternoon. December began with snowfall.
