Amelia was laughing about something when Carter stepped in. He noticed that Evan was lazily snuggling with his omega, his arm draped around her. He had a sleepy, dopey grin on his face. It was pure bliss. Carter gave him a snide look just for the fun of it while stepping towards Amelia.
“Carter I know you saw me” Evan scoffed, lifting his head, his eyes narrowed. As much as Carter wanted to engage himself in friendly banter with his cousin, he had no time. Besides, he had no idea why Evan was still hanging around. Did he finally get tired of running that large hospital?
