The omega felt her heart drop to the stomach. There was a strong possibility that they were defining Carter. She felt that her mate was in some kind of danger, deep in her gut.
Allison shook her head, “Amelia, you need to calm down. I don’t think that’s Carter. Didn’t he go to meet his Chief?”
Amelia nodded her head, her brows pinched together. Even though he might have left someplace else, she felt a strong intuition that he was around her. Was she going crazy? With all the stress about Seth and being away from her Alpha might be taking a toll on her.
“He did, but I still think he is inside” The omega twisted her lips.
