“Meet me in the AV room at the football stadium at six. I have a surprise for you. Webb”
I look at the note again that came with the giant bouquet of lilies and carnations. I smile wondering what he’s up to. He’s the sweetest guy. Guess I should dress up for my surprise date tonight. Wonder why at the football field.
Delaney pops in to say “Hey Clint sent me a text to bring you to the stadium and Webb will bring you home.”
Two hours later, I am making my way into the only open door at the stadium. I have no idea where the AV room is. I look for signs but cannot find any. I am aimlessly walking along about to text him for directions.
“Sofie?” A surprised voice asks behind me.
I turn and see Ryan. “Thought that was you. What are you doing here?” His hands are in his jeans pocket
