I jolted out of bed, removing Axel's arm around me and stood in front of the mirror. I was expecting to see mark, a scar, but there was nothing. It felt like last night was a dream, and I wanted to make sure it wasn't. So I closed my eyes, and opened them again, to make them glow. They were gold. They were finally gleaming gold. I was so excited and caught up in staring into my own eyes, that I didn't even realize when Axel was awake, and when he was standing right behind me.
