Two days had passed, but Calliope didn't see Thanatos in the house. They weren't talking at all. She would stay inside the room all day, and only her bodyguards would bring her food to eat and water to drink. Calliope's heart yearned for him, but she couldn't stand what he was doing. She immediately closed her eyes upon hearing the door creaked opened.
Calliope felt his hot breath on her neck. Thanatos brushed the stray hair away from her face and kissed her on the forehead. Her heart aches because of what he did.
"Trust me," he whispered and left. Calliope opened her eyes as tears kept streaming down her face.
