It had been a really good day at the veterinary surgery, Dr Karl was really helping me to get to grips with what I need to know in order to have a strong application for university. I had helped prep a cat who was to be spade, and then learnt how to correctly clip dog’s nails, avoiding causing damage to the nerves that run to a certain point in the nail. I had also got to play with another little doggy who had been abandoned on the roadside by some unscrupulous owner, and I am going to find out today from Mam and Dad if we can take him as he is homeless, and well, we have plenty of room at the ranch! Dr Karl was giving me a lift home, and he was happily chatting about how great he found Vet school, and how I would really enjoy it
