Tiny glitter speck and paper cuttings flew in the air and settled on his head. Party poppers burst all over the place.
"What is this?" Asael found his voice after a long time and asked.
"Did you forget your own birthday?" Stella chuckled as she brought a small cake towards him.
Asael stared at the cake in astonishment, realising that he has indeed forgotten about his own birthday.
