Irene ripped Ferda's throat apart, her head tumbling down the footsteps and hitting Cedric's feet. Everything stilled for a moment, before utter chaos ensued. Elisha and Rayon emerged from the mansion, carrying heads of dead Hybrids, before they dropped them on the floor. People screamed all around, but my gaze was stuck on Cedric, who was completely frozen. Imara kicked him in the thigh, and causing his grip on her to loosen, before she jerked him off of herself. I rushed to her without wasting an instant, immediately pulling her into my arms.
"Draco!" she cried, throwing her arms around me, gripping onto my shirt.
I scooped her up, kissing her head, and then her lips, before burying my face into the crook of her neck.
