Are punishments always a just imposition for certain actions or offences? Are they always a disciplinary action so that an individual won’t commit the same mistake again and become better? Or would it become the seed to sow and harvest hostility toward someone?

I woke up when I heard noises outside. Apparently, they were so loud that they got through the thick door and walls. I slowly opened my eyes with a frown. The sun was already out that its rays got through the closed glass window to my left. Then my eyes went wide when my brain focused on one handsome face.
