The last few weeks had been challenging for everyone. The month leading up to Christmas Eve had always been difficult, but this year had been harder than usual. The worry of Dancer had caused more stress, and even when he began to do better, a lot of people were still concerned he may have a relapse and not be ready for the trip. But not Caleb. Once Daisy had arrived, he’d known Dancer was going to make it.
The elves had been incredibly busy readying the sleigh for the trip, packing the toys and goodies, and making sure everything was good to go.
