Even though Jayne is sobbing in my arms, I really do think these are happy tears. I cradled her close to my body as her whole body shook with sobs, my shirt was soaked with her tears, not that I mind.
“How?” she eventually asked.
“We have an amazing lawyer” is all I told her.

The lawyer had given me this envelope this morning and asked to give it to Jayne. You see Max had been involved in the drug ring for the last five years and the evidence that had been collected guaranteed that his appeal would be thrown straight out the window.
