"Bumalik ka rito!"
I ran as fast as I could just to escape this nightmare. I hugged my naked body, not minding the chills that the cold wind gives me everytime I try to speed up. I did not mind the bruises I have got from the branches of the trees and thorns of of the plants; and the pain that my feet gets for running barefooted. All I ever want is to escape and live.
"Huwag ka nang tumakbo!"
Napaiyak ako. I tried to stop my tears from falling down, but it did not work. The pain, the fear, the desperation---all those things fueled my eyes to produce more tears.
Nakita ko mula sa malayo ang isang gubat. And right at that very moment, I know I already had a chance to escape and live.
Mabilis akong tumakbo papasok sa masukal na kagubatang iyon. And there, I hid myself, covered my mouth
